Puppy Vaccine Schedule

      Stockbridge Animal Clinic highly recommends this schedule of vaccinations, tests, and services to ensure the quality of immunity in your puppy.  Everything is tentative and to the discretion of the veterinarian.

 

1st Visit (6-8 weeks of age)

Distemper/Adenovirus Type 2/Parainfluenza/Parvovirus combo vaccine

Coronavirus vaccine

Fecal Analysis

Dewormer

Get started on Heartworm prevention

 

2nd Visit (11 weeks of age)

Distemper/Adenovirus Type 2/Parainfluenza/Parvovirus/Leptospirosis combo vaccine

Coronavirus vaccine

Fecal Analysis recheck (if 1st was positive)

 

3rd Visit (14-16 weeks of age)

Distemper/Adenovirus Type 2/Parainfluenza/Parvovirus/Leptospirosis combo vaccine

Rabies vaccine (1 year)

 

4-6 months of age

Spay/Neuter surgery

(must be current on all vaccines up to this point prior to surgery)

Optional:  We would prefer to do front declaws at the same scheduled surgery time as the spay/neuter

 

NOTE: We will only declaw the front paws and we do not declaw cats over 2 years of age

 

8 months-1 year of age

Heartworm test

 

Other Vaccinations

Lyme vaccine (if highly exposed to ticks)

Bordetella vaccine (if potentially exposed to kennel cough situations - kenneling or grooming)
